En el año 2014 se decide crear la UFAM de la Policía Nacional, que permitirá una atención integral, continua y especializada a la víctima, y se crea la figura del coordinador nacional de seguimiento y control de la violencia doméstica, de género y sexual, que unifica la dirección de las actividades contra esta lacra y permite un tratamiento policial integral.

Se crea en base a la Orden INT/2678/2015, de 11 de diciembre, por la que se modifica la Orden INT/28/2013, de 18 de enero, por la que se desarrolla la estructura orgánica y funciones de los Servicios Centrales y Periféricos de la DGP.

Asume:

  • La investigación y persecución de las infracciones penales en el ámbito de la violencia de género, doméstica y todos los delitos sexuales con independencia de la relación entre víctima y autor,
  • Coordinación de la actividad de protección de las víctimas de violencia de género.

La Unidad de Atención a la Familia y Mujer está compuesta por Policías especialistas en el tratamiento policial de estos tipos de violencia que afectan directamente al bienestar y a la paz familiar e incluye una amplia variedad de fenómenos muy complejos de abordar, que requiere un tratamiento integral.

De esta Unidad dependerán:

Brigada Operativa Atención a la Familia y Mujer

Le corresponde la coordinación de la actuación de la función de investigación y persecución de los delitos cometidos en el ámbito familiar y contra la mujer, así como la de protección de las víctimas en materia de violencia de género.

Desarrollará la función de coordinación a nivel central.

Gabinete de Estudios:

Le corresponde el seguimiento y análisis en el ámbito policial de todos los delitos conocidos, promoviendo iniciativas y medidas dirigidas a la lucha contra el problema social que estas violencias suponen; y la coordinación con otros organismos nacionales e internacionales con competencia en estas materias.

Está integrado por:

  • Área de Seguimiento y Control, que deja de depender de la Jefatura Central de Operaciones;
  • SAF Central donde se encuentran el SAM (Servicio de Atención a la Mujer) y el GRUME (Grupo de Menores);
  • UPAP Central (Unidad de Prevención, Asistencia y Protección), que deja de depender de la Comisaría General de Seguridad Ciudadana.

La UFAM recibe uno de los cuatro premios Violeta 2016 que las Juventudes Socialistas entregan cada año a asociaciones, ONG’s, instituciones y otras entidades que destacan por su labor en la lucha contra la Violencia de Género.

El premio Violeta al compromiso social, ha recaído en la Unidad de Atención a la Familia y Mujer (UFAM) de la Policía Nacional y fue recogido por el Comisario Principal, Jefe de la Unidad Central, don Santiago Carrasco, acompañado por un equipo de funcionarios adscritos a dicha Unidad, así como un representante de la Unidad territorial de Toledo, ciudad donde se celebró el acto de entrega de premios.

La UFAM participa en la presentación de LGTBIpol y ACDO en la Embajada de Italia

La  UFAM asistió  ayer a la presentación  de LGTBIPol,  (Agentes de la Autoridad por la Diversidad) y la ACDO (Asociación de Abogados contra los delitos de odio).

El acto tuvo lugar en la embajada italiana, siendo inaugurado y  presidido por el embajador italiano en España D. Stefano Sannino.

LGTBIPol es una asociación integrada por miembros de la Policía Nacional y Guardia Civil, sensibilizada con los delitos de odio que atentan contra la diversidad sexual y de género,  cuyos  principales objetivos son  defender los derechos de los integrantes del colectivo LGTBI en el seno de los cuerpos de seguridad que integran, dar visibilidad a este colectivo dentro de las fuerzas de seguridad del Estado, el asesoramiento a víctimas de delitos de odio y la formación en diversidad.

La UFAM estuvo presente en esta inauguración oficial de ambas asociaciones que,fundamentalmente, luchan contra el odio y la discriminación hacia toda persona.
