Seguimos con esta serie de 101 instrucciones que os ayudarán a superar la oposición. Si aún no lo has hecho, visita nuestra primera y segunda entrega.

21-  Evita los sobreentrenamientos

Cuando entrenamos cada una de las pruebas de la oposición, al principio, evolucionamos muy rápido, pero llega un momento, que el % de mejora se reduce. Es decir, conseguir resultados es cada vez más difícil. Por eso, hay que ser inteligente y seguir entrenando con cabeza, no entrenar cada día y descansar el tiempo recomendado. El opositor quiere evolucionar lo más rápido posible, y cuando hay una lesión de por medio, un día malo en el trabajo, con la pareja, etc., el rendimiento se reduce. Por eso, hay que gestionar bien los entrenamientos y no hacerlo cuando no se deba. Si ayer hiciste dominadas o trabajo del tren superior, hoy no te vuelvas a meter una «paliza» porque no hiciste todas las que querías. Solo conseguirás empeorar. Date tiempo, sé constante y no ceses en tu empeño de conseguirlo.

22- Haz esquemas

Un Esquema no es lo mismo que resumir el tema. Es decir, no tienes que subrayar y escribir todo el tema de nuevo. Consideramos que este método, además de ser muy tedioso es poco práctico. Tienes que optimizar tu tiempo. Lee, comprende y esquematiza todo el tema conforme te vayas aprendiendo el contenido. Te servirá para hacerte un «mapa mental» de la estructura del tema y saber qué tienes que memorizar por ser más importante.

23- Usa reglas Mnemotécnicas.

Es un concepto poco conocido pero que todos hemos usado alguna vez en nuestra vida para recordar algo. Se trata de un método de memorización en el que asocias a un determinado concepto, una frase o idea con la que te será más fácil recordarlo. Por ejemplo, la fecha de una ley o un tratado. Pongamos la misma ley mencionada en puntos anteriores: Ley Orgánica 2/1986 de 13 de marzo de FCS. Al principio, aprender todas estas leyes puede parecer complicado, pero si utilizamos estas reglas, es realmente sencillo. Tenemos varios números, asociémoslos con aspectos de nuestra vida que nos hagan recordarlos.

  • 2. Por ejemplo: Tengo 2 perros, 2 hermanos, 2 hijos, nací el día 2…lo que se os ocurra.
  • 1986. Por ejemplo: Fecha de mi nacimiento. España y Portugal entran en la CEE. Etc. Tenéis muchas cosas que seguro que podéis asociar a este año.
  • 13 de marzo. Por ejemplo: 1+3 suman 4, que es el día en que nací, o 13 es el nº de la mala suerte…

24- Explícale lo aprendido a otra persona o grábate en vídeo

Normalmente, cuando estudiamos, pasamos muchos aspectos por alto porque no tenemos la obligación de contárselo a nadie. Cuando más se aprende, es cuando realmente tienes la obligación de enseñarle a otro lo que has estudiado. Esto lo experimentamos los profesores cuando preparamos una de las clases, siempre aprendemos algo nuevo porque tenemos la obligación de contarle a nuestros alumnos los mejores detalles del tema.

Practícalo, empieza recitando parte de tus temas ante el espejo, grábate en vídeo y luego mírate y comprueba si realmente te lo sabías tan bien como creías. Si tienes la oportunidad de hacerlo con un compañero/a, genial.

25-Utiliza el sistema de Leither

Este sistema es utilizado en multitud métodos de enseñanza. Es conocido como el sistema de la «tarjeta». Consiste en escribir por una cara una pregunta, dato, referencia y al dorso, la respuesta. Imaginemos:

  • En la cara de «pregunta» indica: LOFCS
  • Al dorso, datos sobre esta ley que sean interesantes aprender de cara al examen, por ejemplo:
    • Ley Orgánica 2/1986 13 de marzo.
    • No es orgánica al completo.
    • Artículo 5 Principios Básicos de Actuación.
    • Etc.

Es muy fácil y sencillo de hacer. Tenéis miles de términos y datos con los que jugar en todo el temario :).

26- Trabaja cada uno de los temas

Sí, lo sabemos… son muchos temas, diferentes y algunos aburridos, pero todos son importantes y están ahí para algo. Intenta sacar todo lo bueno de cada tema, empápate de conocimiento y haz exámenes de todos. Habrá alguno que se te dé peor, pero ya habrá tiempo para decidir si estudiarlo en más o menos profundidad.

27- No recurras a bebidas energéticas para mejorar tu rendimiento

ERROR!!! Es bastante común hacer uso de este tipo de bebidas para aumentar nuestro rendimiento. No seáis ilusos. Dedicad esfuerzos en intentar organizar vuestro tiempo para descansar bien. En exceso, este tipo de bebidas pueden ser muy dañinas.

Por el contrario, diversos estudios aconsejan el consumo de café, no solo para evitar el sueño, sino porque aumenta el rendimiento deportivo. Como siempre, no lo consumáis en exceso.

28- Estudia con energía y sin hambre

Siguiendo con la tónica del punto anterior, tener una constante energía es vital para rendir física y mentalmente. Solo tenemos que hacer dos cosas para conseguirlo: descansar y alimentarse bien.

Recuerda que las personas necesitamos 6-7 horas de sueño al día, ni más ni menos. Es importante resaltar que no vale con dormir un día 4 horas y el fin de semana 10 para compensar.

Haz, al menos, 5 comidas al día. Desayuna fuerte, y ve reduciendo la cantidad que ingieres de comida hasta la cena. Esta, debe ser ligera y sana para poder hacer la digestión rápido y que puedas conciliar el sueño de forma normal. Seguro que no será la primera vez que te has ido a la cama «hinchado» y no has podido dormir bien.

29- Lee siempre las instrucciones

En todos los exámenes de teoría, ortografía, psicotécnicos, inglés, etc., hay una serie de instrucciones, normas o reglas que seguir. No te las saltes nunca, no des nada por hecho o entendido. Léelas bien y entiéndelas. Por algo tan nimio como esto (pero de una importancia capital), puedes aprobar o suspender el examen. Además, denota interés en que lo que haces, te importa.

30- Empápate del mundo policial (artículos, tema 8, libros, revistas, series de TV, etc.)

Preferiblemente que sean series reales, serias (y españolas)… no como la de la imagen :). Para los que quieran reír un rato, está bien la «Loca Academia de Policía» pero no para aprender sobre el Cuerpo de Policía Nacional español. Leed todo lo que podáis, mirad series, películas, revistas… de todas podréis sacar algo y ponerlo en práctica.
